The mobile banking service requires a satellite connection in order to operate and whilst the siting of the Bank at The View is very exposed the overriding requirement is that the vehicle is positioned where there is a signal for their satellite connection.
The concept of the mobile banking service to the Machars is a new one for the bank, and they are experiencing some teething problems, which they are asking us to bear patiently. To assist the service, the following constraints are in place:
Maximum standard cash withdrawal- £300, however a Bank customer may withdraw up to £800 if the Bank of Scotland branch in Castle Douglas is contacted 48 hours in advance.
Cash bags- a maximum of 5 bags may be deposited by a single customer; to assist efficiency, please bag the cash into the requisite quantities prior to using the service.
